Have you spotted the works on London's cool sculpture trail? ⠀
@thelinelondon - London's first public art trail - meanders a route between Stratford and Greenwich.
Sporting 12 striking sculptures along its route, the art walk is a brilliant way to enjoy an ever-changing roster of pieces from well-known names and up-and-coming talent! ⠀
Though I'd seen various pieces at one point or another, it wasn't until Sunday, in the midst of a chilly December's day, that I set off to do the whole sculpture trail. ⠀
Whew guys, it's not often you have a proper adventure in London - so often we're hurrying to get from one place to another that we don't take the time to appreciate the spaces between. Yet an adventure is exactly what it felt like!
The trail took me through a part of London I don't know very well, dipping into quiet parts of the city with artwork peeping out from unusual places - here a canal-side towpath, there a small patch of green behind an industrial estate - it's one of the city's more unusual attractions.⠀
This piece - Bird Boy (without a tail) by Laura Ford is tucked next to the Royal Victoria Emirates cable car station, blink and you might miss it but there it is, almost, but not quite lost amidst the vista of the Thames. ⠀

- The British Museum’s new exhibition, Arctic: Culture and Climate has just opened. It tells the tale of how the Arctic peoples are dealing with the frontline of climate change and how their cultures have adapted over time to living in some of the world’s most extreme conditions.
- Aké, Africa’s largest arts festival winds up today. It normally happens in Lagos but has gone online for 2020 meaning you can watch some of the brightest voices from the African diaspora from your home
- The National Theatre marked the return of live theatre with Death of England: Delroy. It runs until the 28th Nov and has attracted some pretty big rave reviews
- London Cocktail Week (which actually runs for a whole month this year) is still going strong.
- The Peter Harrison Planetarium in Greenwich finally reopened - giving you the much-needed opportunity to escape the planet earth and explore the outer confines of the universe.
- The Natural History Museum (pictured) is good for any day, rain or shine 😁
