Best Hotels in Ealing

Hotel Xanadu

££

Hotel Xanadu

Hotel Xanadu describes itself as the “Finest Luxury Hotel” in West London, and to be fair, they’re not far wrong.

Comfort is the watchword at this beautiful boutique hotel with 46 incredibly stylish rooms and a couple of executive suites.

The hotel has a touch of the exotic, with much of the decor recalling the luxurious splendour of the Orient. The complementary fortune cookie is a lovely touch and sets the tone for an opulent stay.

Hotel 55

££

Hotel 55

Hotel 55 is a few minutes walk from North Ealing station and houses one of the best Japanese restaurants in the area to feed hungry tummies. Inside, the rooms are tastefully designed to promote luxury and comfort.

Air-conditioning comes as standard, along with flat-screen TV, a Nespresso machine, a minibar, and a power shower.

If you need to work, a beautiful lounge and outside terrace area is an oasis of calm amidst the craziness of the nearby Hangar Lane gyratory!

Drayton Court Hotel

£££

Drayton Court Hotel

The Drayton Court Hotel isn’t just one of West Ealing’s best pubs; this Fuller’s Inn is also one of the most luxurious and splendorous hotels.

With 27 boutique rooms, table tennis tables, and massive garden games, this is a fantastic area for families.

The rooms are individually decorated, and we adore their luxury suites, including modern en-suite bathrooms with standalone bathtubs, a fridge, safe, complimentary bathrobes, and slippers – the height of luxury and well worth the premium.

Abbey Lodge Hotel

£

A budget B&B, the Abbey Lodge Hotel is a small and comfortable hotel in a charming Victorian detached house just three minutes from Ealing Common.

Each of the 17 rooms has ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee, a TV, and a radio alarm clock. Free WiFi is available in the communal lounge for anyone that needs to work, while the microwave oven is a thoughtful touch, allowing guests to grab a bite to eat if they’re on the run.

This is the perfect location for anyone visiting London on a tight budget.

The Kings Head Hotel

££

The Kings Head Hotel

Just down the road from Ealing is trendy Acton, home to The Kings Head Hotel. This exquisite Victorian former pub has transitioned into a deluxe boutique hotel that boasts one of the best bars and restaurants in West London.

We don’t mind admitting that it’s the little things we adore, and the underfloor heating in each ensuite bathroom is a lovely touch, particularly on colder winter mornings.

Meanwhile, 42-inch satellite TVs are standard, as are state-of-the-art smart lighting systems with touch control and room status indicators, meaning you no longer need to hang your “Do Not Disturb” signs out each morning.

As we say, it’s the little things!

The Fox & Goose Hotel

££

The Fox & Goose Hotel

Another Fuller’s pub and hotel near Hangar Lane, The Fox & Goose Hotel is an 18th Century coaching house that is the perfect location for anyone wanting a base to visit town or events at nearby Wembley Stadium and Arena.

All rooms have clean and tidy ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning as standard, and wonderfully comfortable beds.

The pub provides the typically excellent food and drink that comes with the Fuller’s stamp, making this a perfect option for a base in Ealing.

Crowne Plaza

£££

Crowne Plaza London Ealing

Perfectly located across the road from Hangar Lane station on the Central Line, the Crowne Plaza, is one of the best hotels Ealing has to offer.

Offering great access to Central London via road or tube and unrivalled comfort in one of the spacious, extra-luxurious rooms, we love the additional free access to their top-of-the-range gymnasium as part of the price.

Factor in the West 5 brasserie and bar that serves amazing European cuisine and shows all the top sporting action on their 40-inch screens; you’ll not need to leave once you’ve arrived except to sample everything London offers.

The Kings Arms

££

The King’s Arms

The Kings Arms is a pub/hotel on Ealing Broadway. Formerly a 17th Century coaching inn en route into and out of London, this is now a wonderfully welcoming community pub serving locals and visitors with equal charm.

As well as being in a prime location for anyone wanting to travel into London, The Kings Arms rooms cater to solo travellers, couples, and families, with their tastefully decorated rooms harking back to the pub’s vintage origins.

Ibis Styles

££

ibis Styles London Ealing

The Ibis Styles brings all of the comfort associated with Ibis along with a charming and quirky style that sets it apart from its sister brands – and anything else you’re likely to find in Ealing.

Colour and simplicity are at the heart of the design of their rooms, with vibrant reds and greens striking against the grey/white backdrops of the walls.

Yet, trust us when we say that comfort is not compromised in any way, shape, or form. WiFi, aircon, TVs, and ensuites all come as standard, and this is an excellent choice that won’t break the bank.

The Forester

££

What’s this? Another Fuller’s pub/hotel combo? Yes indeed.

With Fuller’s brewery based down the road in Chiswick, they’ve largely hoovered up the pub and hotel combos in the local area. And as with the others in this list, The Forester is a charming local boozer and comfortable hotel.

While lacking the luxury of Drayton Court Hotel, The Forester effortlessly provides simplicity and plenty of comforts in its family- and couple-friendly rooms. In addition, the pub downstairs combines traditional pub grub with a fabulous Thai kitchen.

The Green

££

The Green

The Green in Hanwell is a mile from Ealing Broadway and home to a charming pub with well-appointed rooms upstairs, providing guests with a quieter experience off the beaten track than that nearer Uxbridge Road.

We love their food and regular events downstairs in the pub that’ll keep you fully occupied during evenings – as well as their soft and luxurious beds. Full ensuite facilities are available, as is WiFi for anyone needing a reasonably priced base for work.

Clayton Hotel

£££

Clayton Hotel Chiswick

Head a couple of miles east of Ealing Broadway, and you will find yourself in leafy Chiswick, home to one of West London’s finest upmarket boutique hotels, Clayton Hotel

Downstairs is the Grill Restaurant and Globe bar, which will satisfy all your foodie needs, while rooms are beautifully designed and finished.

WiFi is in all private and communal areas, while all bathrooms have a power shower, many of which are walk-in. Rooms also come with a desk, safe, and lounge area, while the hotel also has a fully-stocked gym available for those that like to keep fit, even when away for business or leisure!

Doubletree by Hilton

££

DoubleTree by Hilton London Ealing

Located a dropkick from Ealing Common Underground station, the Doubletree by Hilton provides guests with easy access to and from London while sitting on the doorstep of West London’s finest green spaces.

All rooms have an iPod docking station, coffee maker, aircon, Bluetooth-enabled alarm clocks, a mini fridge, and 43-inch flatscreen TV.

There’s an extensive breakfast buffet that’ll fill you up each morning and areas for you to plug in your laptops should you need to work. Comfort and convenience all in one highly-reputable package.

Premier Inn

£

You know what you’ll get from a Premier Inn, and the one in Ealing is among the best around. A large selection of rooms to suit families, solo travellers, and couples on a romantic getaway are available, with comfort at the forefront of their offering.

Breakfasts cost extra here, but with blackout blinds, arguably the most comfortable beds of any budget chain hotel, and spacious and well-appointed ensuite rooms, that’s not the end of the world.

A good night’s sleep is guaranteed here and at a very affordable price.
