Zula Burger is heading east for a one-night-only collaboration with Tempo, the Bethnal Green wine bar, serving three different burgers paired with wine on Sunday 30 August.
The Istanbul-founded, London-based burger spot has built its following on thicker, juicier beef patties and freshly baked, house-made buns since arriving in the city in 2024. For one night, it’s taking that formula out of its own Marylebone kitchen and into Tempo, the East London wine bar and restaurant known for modern South East Asian cooking and a carefully chosen wine list.

What to expect
Three different burgers are on the menu for the night, two from Zula and one from Tempo, each paired with a wine to match. It’s a rare chance to try Zula’s cooking outside its own site, and an equally rare one to see a wine bar built around South East Asian small plates lean into burgers for an evening.

There’s also a National Burger Day deal
Three days before the Tempo pop-up, on National Burger Day itself, Thursday 27 August, Zula is dropping the price of The Donostia, a new off-menu burger inspired by the flavours of San Sebastián, to a flat £7 for one day only. It’s available to order at Zula throughout August, but the £7 price only holds on the day.
The London x London Take: a burger-and-wine crossover at a natural wine bar is a genuinely different way to see Zula’s cooking, and having a £7 National Burger Day deal land the same week gives you a reason to go twice.
