From intimate gigs to interactive art, ‘The Moments That Made Us’ is a one-off pop-up worth clearing your calendar for.
Mercury Prize- and BRIT-winning Ezra Collective are heading back to their London roots – and they’re doing it in style. For four days this June, the genre-blending jazz outfit are taking over Kachette in Shoreditch for a culture-packed popup experience in collaboration with Courvoisier.
Running from 19 – 22nd June, The Moments That Made Us promises live performances, curated DJ sets, cocktail masterclasses, talks, and immersive installations – all rooted in the people and places that shaped one of London’s most exciting bands.
This isn’t just a gig: it’s an invitation to step into the world of Ezra Collective and experience the energy, legacy and joy of London’s grassroots creative scene.
What’s On: Key Dates and Highlights
Thursday 19 June – Poppy Ajudha DJ Set
The week kicks off with a high-energy DJ set from Poppy Ajudha – known for her soulful blend of jazz, R&B and politically-charged lyrics – from 8:00 to 8:45pm.
Friday 20 June – Ezra Collective Live Performance
This is the one to plan your weekend around. Ezra Collective headline an exclusive live set from 9:00 to 10:00pm in an intimate Shoreditch venue. Expect explosive jazz fusion and big energy. Ticketed – limited availability.
Saturday 21 June – Masterclasses and Music All Day
Start your day with a Courvoisier cocktail masterclass (1:00–5:00pm), then stick around for a stacked DJ line-up curated by Ezra Collective:
- Selassie: 7:30–8:30pm
- Mafalda: 8:30–9:30pm
- Yemz: 9:30–10:30pm
Sunday 22 June – Talks and Jazz Icons
The final day blends music, history and community. From 1 to 2:30pm, catch the ‘Records That Made Us’ panel and Q&A with Janine Irons and Gary Crosby of Tomorrow’s Warriors – the youth programme where Ezra Collective (as well as many of the UK’s most talented jazz musicians) got their start.
Later in the evening, Cara (7-8pm) and the legendary Jazz Jamaica (8–9pm) close things out with back-to-back performances.
Immersive Installations: Ezra’s Story, Told Visually

Throughout the week, the space at Kachette will be transformed into a multi-sensory celebration of the band’s journey — think soundscapes, storytelling spaces, and interactive rooms honouring key moments in their history, from early gigs at Foyles to Mercury Prize acclaim.
Bonus: there’ll be exclusive merch stashed around the space for those who know where to look.
Drinks: Classic Courvoisier Cocktails with a Twist
The drinks menu is stacked, with cocktails designed to reflect the same blend of tradition and innovation that defines the band’s sound. Expect Cognac Sours, Espresso Martinis, Raspberry Sidecars and a brand-new signature cocktail, the Ezra Twist – made with Courvoisier VSOP, raspberry syrup, and white grape soda. Prices start at £6.
