Diamonds and Dust: Dita Von Teese’s New Wild West Spectacle Opens in London This Month

Diamonds and Dust

The Emerald Theatre launches with a genre-bending, glitter-drenched debut starring Faye Tozer and Dita Von Teese.

West End just got wilder. On 16 – 22nd June, Diamonds and Dust makes its world premiere at the brand-new Emerald Theatre, fusing old-school saloon glamour with big-stage theatrics, burlesque bombshells, and card-dealing chaos.

With Steps’ Faye Tozer taking on the role of Miss Kitty LeRoy and burlesque icon Dita Von Teese appearing as Lady Luck (at select performances), this isn’t your average musical. Think high-stakes drama, cabaret seduction and Western grit, all wrapped in Louboutin heels.

What’s the Story?

Set in a whiskey-soaked saloon at the edge of the Wild West, Diamonds and Dust tells the tale of Miss Kitty LeRoy, a legendary card dealer making her way in a man’s world, determined to beat the odds – and perhaps outwit Lady Luck herself.

The show leans into high drama with a plot-driven narrative, but also plunges into spectacle with a cast of cirque artists, magnetic dancers and a soundtrack full of grit, soul and glitter.

Who’s Who?

Faye Tozer

The production boasts an impressive lineup both on stage and behind the curtain.

Faye Tozer, best known as part of pop powerhouse Steps, brings serious musical theatre chops from past runs in 42nd Street, 101 Dalmatians, Singin’ in the Rain and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

Dita Von Teese

Dita Von Teese will perform as Lady Luck during the show’s early run and continue with six performances per month. Also in the cast are West End regulars and cabaret performers, including Alexandros Beshonges (Mamma Mia!), Bethany Chan (The Lion King), Georgia Eddon-Burke (Lío London) and many more. At select performances, Miss Kitty LeRoy will be played by Katie Dunsden (Grease, Moulin Rouge).

Co-directed by Tosca Rivola and Dita Von Teese, the show includes choreography by Rivola, Von Teese and Matt Nicholson, with costume design from Jenny Packham, wigs and makeup by Sam Cox, and bespoke footwear by Christian Louboutin.

The Experience

Candace Cane

Diamonds and Dust is an entire evening out. Arrive early for pre-show cocktails and a farm-to-table dining experience, then stay late for Emerald After Dark, a new late-night entertainment programme featuring DJs, live acts and industry nights.

Entry to After Dark is free for ticketholders before 11pm during the first four weeks of the run. Expect West End Wednesdays, big-name DJs and a rotating cast of surprise guests every Thursday through Sunday.

The London x London Take

It’s bold, it’s burlesque and it’s bringing a brand-new kind of theatrical energy to London. If you’re into immersive storytelling, decadent costuming and cabaret chaos — Diamonds and Dust is a must. Go for the spectacle, stay for the afterparty.
