Jorja Smith has been added to the line-up for The O2’s 20th birthday, joining Maisie Peters, Shreya Ghoshal and Don Omar across summer 2027. Presale opens at 10am this morning.

The Brit Award winner plays the arena on Saturday 17 July 2027, and The O2 has confirmed it will be her only UK arena performance of that year, which turns a birthday booking into something closer to a one-off.
She joins a line-up that so far runs Maisie Peters on Saturday 8 May, Shreya Ghoshal on Friday 4 June and Don Omar on Monday 5 July, with more names promised. The venue is framing the whole of summer 2027 as the celebration rather than staging a single anniversary night, which is the right call for a building that does volume better than almost anywhere.
Performing at The O2 as part of its 20th birthday celebrations is a huge honour, to be part of this milestone feels really special.
Jorja Smith
Twenty years, 100 million people
The numbers behind the anniversary are worth sitting with. The O2 opened in 2007 in the shell of the Millennium Dome, a building written off within a year of opening as one of the great British public embarrassments. It has since hosted more than 3,000 shows and passed 100 million visitors.
That is a remarkable second act for a structure most of the country had already decided was a failure. Whatever you think of arena gigs, turning the Dome into the busiest music venue on the planet is not a small thing to have done with it.
We are so pleased to welcome Jorja Smith, for what will be her only UK arena performance of 2027, to our ever-growing 20th birthday line-up.

How to get tickets
O2 and Virgin Media broadband customers get presale access through Priority Tickets from 10am this morning, Wednesday 26 August. General sale details and prices have not been announced yet.
The London x London Take: the Jorja Smith date is the one to prioritise, and not for sentimental reasons. A single UK arena show in a calendar year means demand for it is concentrated into one night at one venue, so the Priority presale is realistically where this gets bought. Set a reminder for 10am. The rest of the line-up will still be there in a fortnight; this one won’t.
