Sunshine, caviar-topped soft serve, and black cod baos? Taste of London is back — and you’ve got four days to eat your way through the city’s most hyped restaurants, all without leaving Regent’s Park.
The city’s biggest open-air food festival officially opened its gates yesterday, and the timing couldn’t be better. With temperatures soaring, the park is buzzing with picnic blankets, cocktail bars, open grills, and pop-ups from some of the most exciting names in the capital’s food scene.
The Line Up

Whether you’re here for a quick bite or making a day of it, the lineup is stacked. Los Mochis are back with their decadent Truffle Guacamole Crispy Rice, Eataly’s serving grilled octopus in nduja and truffle, and Flesh & Buns is turning heads with a black cod bao so crisp it’s got its own fan club.
Over at Bocconcino, expect a wheel of Grana Padano filled with creamy truffle pasta, and Lore of the Land is getting Sunday roast levels of attention with their leg of lamb stuffed Yorkshire pudding.

Seafood lovers, Manzi’s has your back — battered haddock with hand-cut chips and a tomato salad straight from the Isle of Wight. Roti King is flipping roti canai, Oblix at The Shard is doing crispy buttermilk chicken, and Roka’s Toumorokoshi (grilled corn with shichimi butter) might just be the sleeper hit of the festival.
Sweet tooth? Norma is bringing a pistachio cannolo filled with orange blossom ricotta, and Bone Daddies is handing out matcha soft serve that tastes like strawberry shortcake on holiday.
A Host of Special Events
There’s plenty more to explore, too — from Melissa Hemsley’s headline session at the Taste Cook School, created in partnership with food waste charity The Felix Project, to daily pop-ups from the Uber Eats Daily Specials programme.
Look out for rotating appearances from cult favourites like Santo Remedio, The Beefy Boys, Afghan Caravan and Coqfighter. Every visit has a new duo to discover.
And if you’re more into cocktails than croquettes (or both), head for the Croquet & Cocktails garden — a brand new addition where you can sip spritzes and knock a few balls around under the sun, all with major English garden party vibes.
The London x London Take

Taste always delivers, but with the city in full summer swing, this year’s edition might be the best yet. Come hungry, bring your suncream, and don’t try to do it all in one go — unless you’re planning on coming back. Which you probably will.
