Comedy, live music, street food and creative workshops – right on the Thames.
Fulham’s riverside just got a major upgrade. Fulham Pier, London’s newest waterfront destination, is officially open – and they’re celebrating with a full weekend of free entertainment from 20 – 22nd June.
Expect big-name acts (yes, that Example), award-winning comedy, hands-on creative sessions and a seriously strong street food line-up – all set against the backdrop of the Thames.

Here’s what to expect from the opening weekend.
Friday 20 June – Laughs on the River
Things kick off with a night of stand-up comedy at The Orange Box. Headlining the bill is none other than BAFTA winner Tom Davis – if you’ve seen Murder in Successville or The Curse, you’ll know he’s not one to miss.
Entry is free, but you’ll need to grab a ticket in advance via fulhampier.com. These will go quickly.
Saturday 21 June – Example Live at Riverside Market
Yes, really – Fulham’s own Example is back for a one-off open-air set right by the water. It’s a proper homecoming moment and one of the most exciting bits of the weekend.
There’s no ticketing system, so it’s first come, first served. Get down early if you want a decent view – this one’s likely to be packed.
Sunday 22 June – Creative Workshops Inspired by Yinka Ilori

Sunday is all about hands-on creativity and community, with a series of workshops inspired by Yinka Ilori’s vibrant new public art installation, 100 Found Objects.
- Botanical reed diffuser making (10:30am–12:30pm): Learn how to blend essential oils and natural elements to create your own reed diffuser to take home.
- Screen printing workshop (12pm–2pm): Get stuck in with inks and textures as you design and print your own artwork using professional techniques.
Both sessions are free, but spots are limited – book in advance via fulhampier.com to avoid disappointment.
The Food Line-Up at Fulham Pier

Even if you skip the events, the food alone makes it worth the trip. Fulham Pier’s new culinary set-up pulls together some of London’s most loved names in one riverside location. Here’s a taste of what’s on offer:
- RAPS by Tinie Tempah: An offshoot of his cult pop-up, bringing bold, flavour-packed wraps and street food classics.
- Tacos El Rey by Breddos Tacos: Spicy, smoky, slow-cooked fillings from one of London’s most respected taco crews.
- Slice & Dice: Neapolitan-inspired pizza done fast and properly, perfect for soaking up live music vibes.
- Goila Butter Chicken: Famous for its ultra-rich, slow-cooked North Indian-style curry. Comfort food with heat.
- Fat Pickle Burgers: Smash-style patties, loaded fries and plenty of sauce.
There’s also a new riverside brasserie from Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt – expect refined British fare with a Thames-side view.
The London x London Take
A genuinely exciting new space that manages to feel both local and big-deal at once. Between the live acts, creative energy and some of the most interesting food traders this side of the river, Fulham Pier is set to be one of London’s most buzzed-about hangouts this summer.
Even if you only go for the tacos and a stroll, you’ll want to stay for the sunset and music.
