Organic Swiss chocolate brand Rhythm 108 is teaming up with The Real Fruit Ice Cream Co. for a one-day-only pop-up at Old Spitalfields Market, handing out free, limited-edition ice creams – and they’re dairy-free and gluten-free too.
On Thursday 27th August, the pair are turning Old Spitalfields Market into a one-day dessert destination. The Real Fruit Ice Cream Co., known for its New Zealand-style real fruit ice cream, will be blending its creamy vegan vanilla ice cream with real frozen fruit and Rhythm 108’s melt-in-the-mouth filled cookies, then finishing each cup with an indulgent topping. It’s free, first come first served, so get there early if you want to make sure of a cup.
Two flavours, both dairy-free and gluten-free
There are two limited-edition flavours to choose from, both built around Rhythm 108’s award-winning filled cookies. Banana PB Cookie pairs vegan vanilla ice cream with banana and a Chocolate Peanut Butter-filled cookie, topped with Rhythm 108’s Salted Caramel Spread and cookie crumble. Strawberry Choc Cookie blends vegan vanilla ice cream with strawberries and a Hazelnut Chocolate Praline-filled cookie, finished with Chocolate Hazelnut Spread and cookie crumble. Whichever you go for, it’s 100% dairy-free and gluten-free.
Rhythm 108 is the Swiss chocolate and confectionery brand behind those filled cookies, made in the foothills of the Swiss Alps by Maître Chocolatiers and Pâtissiers using traditional techniques and organic ingredients, and it’s entirely vegan. The Real Fruit Ice Cream Co. brings New Zealand-style ice cream to London, blending frozen fruit with creamy vegan vanilla ice cream to order, and has become a familiar face at pop-ups and brand activations across the city over its fourth summer here.
