SBTV 20 lands at The O2 on 11 November 2026, and the just-announced phase two lineup adds Headie One, Tinie Tempah and Shola Ama to a bill that already included Wiley, Chip, Lady Leshurr and Roll Deep.
Twenty years ago, a fifteen-year-old from Acton called Jamal Edwards got a camcorder for Christmas and started filming his mates rapping. By the time he died in 2022, aged 31, the platform he’d built on that footage had given Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Dave, Jessie J and an entire generation of British artists their first real audience. On 11 November 2026, that story comes back to The O2, with the artists who were there at the beginning, in aid of the charity his family built in his name.
SBTV 20 is a one-night celebration of the platform’s 20th anniversary, organised with Ernest Promotions and in association with the Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust. Phase two of the lineup has just landed, adding another wave of names to an already heavyweight bill.
The lineup
The phase two additions: 36, 8Syn, Big Zuu, Clavish, Frisco, Headie One, Kasst8, Mak 10, Rimzee, RV, Shola Ama and Tinie Tempah, joining the previously confirmed Wiley, Chip, Lady Leshurr, Big Narstie, Dappy, Tinchy Stryder, Nolay, Scorcher, Roll Deep, Professor Green, DJ Target, Griminal, Kyla, Kenny Allstar, WSTRN and Yungen. That’s 28 names and counting, with organisers still promising more acts and “very special guests” to come.
The framing is deliberate and right: founding-era grime OGs alongside artists who broke through SBTV, alongside a new generation who never met Jamal but exist in the music industry because of what he built. Headie One and Tinie Tempah’s arrival on the bill only sharpens that point, two more artists whose careers trace straight back to the platform’s reach.
Why this matters
SBTV didn’t just host videos. It was the infrastructure that allowed British artists to reach audiences before streaming, before playlists, before any of the mechanisms that now exist to do that work. Jamal Edwards built it out of genuine enthusiasm for the music and the culture, before the business case was obvious to anyone else. The artists performing in November were, in most cases, directly shaped by what he did.
The proceeds from the event support the Jamal Edwards Self Belief Trust, which continues the work he cared about most.
